While at the peak of it's power, Atur certainly did much to improve the road, old records clearly show the road existed long before Atur was an empire. In fact, the road seems to have existed long before Atur was even a country, or there was even a city of that name. Truthfully, its origins are lost in the dim reaches of pre-history, and therefore speculation on that subject is better left to storytellers than any self-respecting historian”.

One Step At A Time
In the town of Imre, the university there is where the road begins. Like many young adults graduating with a degree was the my biggest goal. That’s all there is I thought? Pass all my classes, walk up on stage, and in 5-7 business weeks, receive a fancy piece of paper. The rest of my life will lay itself out in front of me.
I was wrong.
The road begins at the university and ends thousands of miles away far beyond the Stormwal Mountains. Graduating from university I thought my journey was over. Mistaken, I’ve come to realize my journey has only just begun. Every day is one step further along the road, passing towns, crossing the land and encountering new characters along the way. Each day, one step further between my university until I reach the mysterious afterlife that lies beyond the Stormwal Mountains.
