Overnight Stays At The Philmont Training Center

CHECKING IN & OUT

• Camp Quiet Time is from 10 PM until 6 AM. Lights out is 11 PM. Camp check is between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.  Unless prior arrangements have been made with camp staff, late arrivals cannot be guaranteed entry into camp. Check out is no later than 9:00AM. No need to stop by the PTC Office to do anything, you can simply leave as long as your tent is clean and the flaps are closed. They are much less strict about the 9:00am rule during the Fall and Winter.

*All Museums at Philmont Base Camp Are Free

SHOWERS

Guests are welcome to use the shower and bathhouses right next to their tents. Several of them should be unlocked with no need for a key. They are all private, individual and very well maintained and cleaned.

REFUNDS

Applicable to the total registration minus deposit.

• 60 Days Out from Reservation = Full Refund minus deposit.

• 45 Days Out from Reservation = Half Refund minus deposit

• 30 Days Out from Reservation = No Refund

Exceptions to this Rule: Military Service, family death, major medical (minus deposit), or other extenuating circumstances on a per case basis.

The refund will be applied to the credit card under the registration profile. Or, if payments were made in the form of a check, the refund will be mailed in the form of a check.
